Following various
HO, SHO and registrar posts within the NHS, Caroline worked as
a healthcare management consultant for 5 years. She was involved
in implementation of government initiatives, IT design and implementation,
management of change and strategic planning. She returned to medicine
in 1996. Her main clinical specialties are Cardiology, Family medicine
and paediatrics, Drug misuse and alcohol dependence, Medicines
management and Mental Health. Caroline is the Prescribing Lead
for Maldon and South Chelmsford PCT and chairs the Medicines Management
Committee. She is an Associate trainer of doctors and nurses.
