Jim has worked as an executive
in the medical devices and healthcare informatics business for many years. A
Cambridge
University
engineering
graduate, he spent years with the Rank Organisation and Texas Instruments prior
to joining Glaxo as the managing director of one
of
their subsidiaries. He then spent
10
years as CEO of Vickers Medical. He
chaired the NHS Microbiology Research Authority, sits on the NHS selection
board for Trust non-executive directors, and is chairman of both Summit Medical
Holdings
and Novocellus Limited.
