Kevin's career of over thirty three years has been spent entirely within the healthcare sector.
He is from a clinical background (RGN - Anaesthetics & Recovery) with seventeen years clinical and
operational management experience in NHS theatres. Kevin spent a further ten years in the commercial
sector as a Galaxy Surgery theatre system product specialist and trainer and several years working on
various theatre related projects within the National Program for IT. Kevin is a theatres domain
specialist and spent a year at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust as their theatre system administrator.
He has recently undertaken 'Train the Trainer' training in the NHS Institute's Productive Operating Theatre programme (TPOT).
Kevin has a sound understanding of the requirements of an integrated surgical patient management system
including clinical workflow, clinical documentation, business processes, resource scheduling, operational management
& reporting and a keen interest in service improvement and the development of theatre system functionality to support
the Productive Operating Theatre programme.
