With
14 years' business experience, much of which has been spent in
healthcare IT, Matthew has
worked on a number of pan-European projects. Recent
projects have been with the NHS, Republic of Ireland Health Boards
and Independent
UK
healthcare providers. Within the scope of these projects, Matthew
has delivered finctional specifications, OJEC adverts/ITTs, contract
negotiation and management, project management, change management
consultancy, creation of user documentation and training.
Previous
to HealthSystems, he spent 5 years at Ericsson. He has detailed
technical
knowledge of corporate, public and wireless technologies and has
done a lot of work at migrating traditional voice and data solutions
into converged IP
centric models. He is also an expert on business continuity planning
and BS7799/HIPAA security standards, and has written numerous
business continuity plans for
healthcare organisations.
At
Citation, a provider of Laboratory Management systems, he
initially provided the technical
support in
Europe
. As well as project managing
and assisting with the rollout of the systems, he delivered first
line support to the clients. As the organisation grew he moved
into a sales executive role, specialising in Citation's
laboratory solution, infection control surveillance software
and integration technologies.
