Paul
has worked in management and informatics consultancy for
over 25 years. His
experience includes the management of many high profile consultancy
programmes and projects, including
the development of strategic and tactical plans for a variety of
both public and private sector organisations.
For the
public sector, he has undertaken assignments on behalf of clients
in Central Government Departments, Local Government, the National
Health Service, Government Agencies
and Public Utilities. In
the private sector, clients have included companies in the oil,
computer manufacturing,
financial services, legal services, private healthcare, transportation
and construction industries.
Paul has
co-authored a review of integrated information systems on behalf
of the British Library and is the secretary of the UK Council for
Health Informatics
Professions (UKCHIP). He is currently undertaking the development
of a training and development programme for the Health Service
Executive,
Ireland, and with the DTI, is providing the secretariat
for the ASEM eHealth Working Group prior to the next ASEM Conference
taking place in China in November 2006.
