The need to maintain and improve quality and reduce cost makes setting clinical involvement in the investments made by Connecting for Health high on the agenda. A very significant factor in the value
it produces
for
the money
invested will be its use by clinicians and how much it helps them
in their practice. Clinical involvement is probably
the most important key to success and HealthSystems Consultants
have established a team of senior clinicians and clinically experienced
health informatics executives to help with clinical understanding
of, and involvement in, CfH systems. Clinical involvement is a prerequisite to process improvement and benefit realisation.
Our clinical team are all professors or senior consultants and
can:
- show by example how better health informatics can lead to improved
practice
- encourage your clinicians to become involved
- explain that IT fluency is NOT essential
- generally assist you in getting value from CfH.
