Charles is an entrepreneur and capable of creating, selling and delivering major propositions to large independent sector organisations, public sector providers, and policy groups at government level. He has a detailed knowledge of primary care, the new Darzi models of delivery and remote out-patient care and monitoring service propositions. He also has experience of bidding for equitable access centres and the formulation of the service and business models to support them.
His knowledge and network of contacts in the public sector provides him with a unique perspective and insight into the market which is based on extensive experience. His career spans having worked in:
- · the NHS in various roles
- · major consulting organisations including KPMG and Deloitte & Touche
- · a UK FTSE 100 software company; and
- · his own company.
Working with many stakeholders on a project, he has strong interpersonal skills and is comfortable dealing with all levels within the NHS across both clinical and management dynamics. He is a skilled procurement executive having led major procurements in healthcare as both a buyer and a seller. He served as a director or senior executive of both public and private companies and is a very experienced healthcare informatics executive.
