Ruth has 18 years’experience in healthcare informatics,
including 14 years as a senior IM&T manager within the
NHS. She is highly skilled in developing and understanding
strategic concepts, work practice and business processes and
translating these into effective business solutions. Ruth’s
experience as Director of Healthcare for Hyder Business Services,
a large scale business outsourcing company, has given her experience
in working within the supplier sector, particularly involved
with PFI projects in Health. Ruth also spent time working on
larger scale Local Government outsourcing projects during her
time with HBS which has enabled her to understand the business
processes within the Social Services and Education sectors
and to gain experience of large scale business process outsourcing.
Ruth’s key interest is in development of Electronic Record
solutions, her masters research programme focused on the development
of acute electronic records and the associated change management
implications. Ruth has a broad range of technical skills including
systems analysis techniques, system design, data modelling
and business analysis. She has excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, with first class report writing skills,
specifically in constructing strategic plans, specifications
and business cases.
