Chairman and founder of HealthSystems Consultants (formerly
Datasystems Consultants), William Seabrook has many years of
experience at top management level in health informatics both
in the UK and USA. As president of TDS (now Eclipsys) and other
leading system suppliers, he has developed a comprehensive
understanding of the clinical information process and the IT
systems available to support it. Qualifying originally as an
accountant, William also appreciates the business imperatives
and brings a clear focus to issues of costs, budgets and expense
control. Working with many stakeholders on a project, he has
strong interpersonal skills and is comfortable dealing with
all levels within the NHS across both clinical and management
dynamics. He is a skilled procurement executive having lead
major procurements in healthcare as both a buyer and a seller.
He served as a director of both public and private companies
in the UK and the USA, as well as a director of the Business
Continuity Institute and is a very experienced healthcare software
executive. William is also regional Chair of
the Institute of Healthcare Management.
